Q: Are there activities for children?
A: Absolutely. The festival offers family-friendly activities, including educational exhibits, hands-on mushroom workshops, and kid-friendly walks.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: We love our animals too, but we request that you leave your furry friends at home for the comfort and safety of all guests in our talks, workshops, and walks.
Q: Do I need to register in advance?
A: Some workshops and guided tours may require pre-registration. Check the individual event pages for more details on how to secure your spot. Additional walk tickets are available for on-site registration at the Keynote Dinner and in the Mushroom Exhibit Hall.
Q: The event I want to attend is sold out! Is there any way to get tickets?
A: Some workshops and walks may have additional tickets available for on-site purchase. Please inquire at the Keynote Dinner or in the Mushroom Exhibit Hall.
Q: Is food available at the festival?
A: Yes, there will be food vendors offering mushroom-based dishes as well as other local favorites around town.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for walking, especially if you plan to explore the trails. Bring layers as the weather can be unpredictable in October, and probably a little wet.
Q: Do you have a downloadable event schedule?
A: Why yes we do! You can download the schedule here, or pick up a printed booklet at the event.
Q: Do you have a downloadable map for the events?
A: Why yes we do! You can download the map here, or pick up a printed booklet at the event that includes it.
Q: How do I get to the festival?
A: Once you get to Yachats, the events are easily accessible at a few different venues. The events are accessible by car, and parking is available on-site and on the streets. We are coordinating carpools for the mushroom walks and offsite events, loading at the Yachats Commons. Please check the individual walks, talks and workshops for event locations, maps, times and details.
